CALBAYOG CITY– Two young girls were drowned while swimming in a sea in Calbayog City on Friday (June 15).
The victims were identified as Rhea Mae Nabor,7, and Hilary Quin Salvadora,5, both residents of Barangay Malajog in the said city.
Police said that the victims were seen floating by some individuals who happened to be in the area at about 2 pm.
One of them was a nursing student who tried to revive the two kids but to no avail.
This prompted the parents of the children to bring them to a hospital where they were declared dead on arrival by an attending physician, the report added.
