ORMOC CITY-The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte 4th District Engineering Office (DEO) commences the holiday season with a Christmas Kick Off and Food Bazaar last Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the DPWH Leyte 4th DEO compound.
The event featured a variety of performances from the employees including group dance, chorus, and Christmas Nativity Play as well as the Christmas tree lighting. It was also attended by DPWH Assistant Secretary for Regional Operations Nerie D. Bueno and her staff.
One of the event highlights was the much-anticipated Food Bazaar wherein each section of the DEO showcased and sold an array of dishes and delectable treats like chocolate-coated strawberries, sugar-coated fruits, leche flan, siomai and more.
To extend the festivities to the broader community, the Food Bazaar will be open to the public on December 7, and 15, 2023 from 1 pm to 9 pm. This provides an opportunity for families, friends, and food enthusiasts to come together and experience the joyous spirit of the holiday season. (PR)
