ISABEL, Leyte-The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte 4th District Engineering Office (DEO) turns over the Construction of a 1-Unit 1-storey 3-classroom school building at Binog Elementary School in Barangay Binog, this town.
The newly-constructed school building significantly improves the teaching capacity of educators at Binog Elementary School.
By providing modern and conducive learning environments, this initiative aims to uplift the educational standards and the overall performance of students in the area.
Furthermore, the multipurpose nature of the school building is highlighted as it can serve as a safe refuge during calamities such as typhoons, contributing to the community’s resilience and disaster preparedness efforts.
With a contract amount of Php 7,406,437.32 funded by the General Appropriations Act (GAA) of 2023, this project stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to providing quality education infrastructure in communities across Leyte. (PR)
