ORMOC CITY-A former drug convict who was released after the court approved his plea bargaining agreement is back to prison after he was caught bringing suspected shabu while visiting a drug prisoner in Isabel, Leyte.

The suspect, Felicito Mendigo, 54, was caught while visiting Angel Nepomuceno, who is facing illegal drugs charges, at the jail facility under the management of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) located in Barangay Santo Niño at about 4:30 pm on October 14.

The suspect was arrested by Jail Officers 1 Guillermo Patingo Jr., and Mark Anthony A Gabriola.

He was caught in possession of the illegal drugs placed inside a bread he was supposed to give to Nepomuceno.

Charges of violation of Sec. 11 Article II of R.A 9165 was filed against the suspect who is temporarily detained at the locked-up cell of Isabel municipal police station.
