Gov. Tan launches ‘Ospital ng Barangay’; remote Samar villagers target of the health program

TACLOBAN CITY– Samar Governor Sharee Ann Tan led in the launching of the ‘Ospital ng Barangay’ on Thursday (Nov. 30) bringing the delivery of health services to the villagers.
According to the governor, providing basic health services to the people, especially those residing in remote villages, remain to be one of her top priorities.

What sets the Ospital ng Barangay apart from the regular medical mission is that, aside from the usual medical consultation and provision of medicines, the program now includes laboratory tests, x-ray examination, ultrasound, and referrals.

This result to a fast and efficient results for better medical care, the governor said.
