TACLOBAN CITY-A saleslady has died after she was stabbed multiple times by her live-in partner at their rented house in Barangay 83-A (Burayan), San Jose, this city on Sunday (March 19).
Police identified the victim as Dailyn Tiu, 33, an appliance center sales lady, and a resident of the same place.
While the suspect was identified as Jason Roa, 28.
Based on the police information, at about 12:40 pm, neighbors of the live-in couple heard them having a quarrel over some issues.
This was followed with the victim shouting for help and later saw blood at the door of the house, the report said, quoting the witnesses.
The police said that when the victim fell down to the floor, and the suspect noticed that the victim had died, he slashed his pulse resulting in severe oozing of blood from the suspect.
The woman was declared dead while the suspect was brought to the Eastern Visayas Medical Center to treat his wounds.
Police said that jealousy was the reason cited for the murder of the woman by her live-in partner.
