It seems an endless drama to entertain the viewing public as a senate committee probes the issues spreading like wildfire on social media regarding the leaking of reports from the drug enforcement agency. The videos that went viral on social media has to do with official documents linking the magical president and a movie celebrity as users of prohibited drugs. The issue stemmed from wayward allegations by the former president alleging that the magical president is a drug user purportedly based on reports from the drug enforcement agency. The allegation was denied by the concerned agency as it explained that there was no such report.
The issue was taken by the senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs as a matter needing urgent action purportedly in aid of legislation. The probe is taking so much time on mainstream media as people await of any positive outcome that may serve to aid legislation. From the allegations by a former drug enforcement agent regarding the leaked documents, the senate probe is uncovering more than what meets the eye. Already, many names had been dragged into the investigation, prompting the senate committee to invite more resource persons to shed light on the matter.
But the way the investigation is going, there are more issues blurring than enlightening the public. Initially, the disclosure of the alleged report linking the magical president and the movie actress was denied and labeled as fake. It was merely treated as a laughing matter by the magical president, branding the issue as untrue. The chairperson of the senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs took the reported leak as credible even as another senator questioned the credibility of the former drug enforcement agent that revealed the leaked report to the public.
Meanwhile, a former executive secretary was invited to the hearing to shed light on the allegation by the former drug enforcement agent that his team was ordered not to pursue an alleged surveillance operation against a former senator who is now the magical president and the alleged movie actress. The allegation was denied by the former executive secretary, categorically explained that he has no knowledge of such documents linking the magical president and the actress.
