ORMOC CITY – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte 4th District Engineering Office (DEO) led by OIC-Assistant District Engineer Peter Scheler V. Soco alongside OIC-Construction Section Chief Victor S. Suplico III, OIC-Planning and Design Section Chief Ma. Celina A. Sia and project engineers, convene with key officials from the City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) and City Engineering Office (CEO) on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Leyte 4th DEO Conference Room.
The purpose of the meeting was to ensure coordination among the offices with regards to the implementation of projects under General Appropriations Act (GAA) 2024 in Ormoc City which includes construction of access roads leading to declared tourism destinations, access roads leading to strategic public buildings, causeway for environmental conservation, multi-purpose buildings to support social services, and evacuation centers.
Said meeting also facilitated the comprehensive discussion of topics in relation to their locations to avoid any overlapping of projects thus ensuring their smooth implementation. (PR)
