BASEY, Samar-Five sachets containing white crystalline substances suspected to be shabu were recovered by authorities during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Basey, Samar police in Barangay Sawa on Wednesday (Jan.3).
Arrested by the members of the drug enforcement team of Basey police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) was Mercenario Romboa, a resident of Sawa where the buy-bust operation took place at about 7:44 pm.
Recovered from his possession were five sachets containing with commercial value of P22,720 and weighing 2.84 grams.
Charges for violations for possession and selling of illegal drugs were filed against the suspect who is now detained at the Basey locked-up facility.
