In Sogod, Southern Leyte
ORMOC CITY– A married woman and her alleged lover are presently languishing in jail after they were caught by the woman’s husband inside their house in Barangay Zone I, Sogod, Southern Leyte.
The suspects were identified as a certain “Delia”, 32, married, housewife, and a certain “Ronnie”, 33, with a common-law wife, and both residents of the said barangay here.
The police said that a certain William, the husband of the woman, called the local police asking for police assistance after he caught his wife, together with her paramour inside the room of his house lying in their bed wearing only underwear on Saturday (April 20) at about 9:10 am.
The local police immediately responded to the reported place, and upon arrival thereat, the victim personally turned over the above-named suspects and their marriage contracts to the responding police officers.
The suspects are now under the custody of Sogod municipal police station as they were for violation of Article 333, (adultery) of the Revised Penal Code. (ROBERT DEJON)
