ORMOC CITY– A man wanted for frustrated homicide was apprehended by the local police of Almeria, Biliran on Wednesday (Dec.20).
Arrested was Anthony Monacar, of legal age and a resident of Barangay Iyusan of the said town at about 8:50 am.
The arrest of the accused was by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Luz Navarrete, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court-Branch 16 in Naval, Biliran on Dec.13 of this year.
A bail of P72,000 was recommended by the court for the temporary liberty of the accused.
The accused is now detained at the Almeria municipal police detention facility.
