ORMOC CITY-A man was arrested in a buy-bust operation that resulted in the confiscation of marijuana leaves valued at P500 in Naval town, Biliran on Friday (April 14).
Arrested was Vincent Palahang, 25, jobless, in a sting operation in Barangay P.I. Garcia, Naval at about 10:55 pm.
The operation was carried out by the local police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Charges of violation of section 5 (selling) of Art II of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Act, was filed against the suspect who is now detained at the locked-up facility of the Naval police office.
