ORMOC CITY– A murder suspect who has been hiding from the law for more than 14 years finally falls after he was arrested in his hiding place at about 9:10 pm Friday (August 25) in Barangay Silangan here.
The accused, Gerry Tepasi, 46, and who is from San Mateo, Rizal, was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest dated March 11, 2009, issued by Judge Bienvenido Montilla of Branch 16, Naval, Biliran, for the crime of murder with no bail recommended.
The arrested accused was brought to the San Mateo municipal police office for documentation and proper disposition prior turnover of the accused to the court that issued the warrant of arrest.
