ORMOC CITY– A barangay tanod was brought to the Biliran Provincial Hospital after he sustained injury on his arm by a gaff used by the suspect.
The victim, Anecito Abrigo, 59, while the suspect was identified as Benito Marilla, 38. Both residents of sitio Calawan-an in Barangay P.S. Eamiguel, Naval town.
Based on the investigation conducted by the police, disclosed that the victim at about 11:30 pm on June 30 went outside of his house to check after hearing noise from dogs.
While checking the noise outside, the victim saw the suspect carrying a gaff in his right hand and stabbed him on his left arm.
The suspect is now detained at the Naval police. (ROBERT DEJON)
