In Borongan City
TACLOBAN CITY – Borongan City Mayor Jose Ivan Dayan Agda expressed his gratitude and optimism regarding the construction of a diversion coastal road and bridge project in his city as he commended 4Ps party-list Rep. Marcelino ‘Nonoy’ Libanan, for his pivotal role in its initiation.
Agda believes that this project will significantly impact not only the residents of Borongan but also motorists and visitors to the city.
The city mayor led Borongan officials in the groundbreaking ceremony of the project with Rep. Libanan held on July 10 with a budget cost of P163.65 million.
“This project is a high-impact initiative and a milestone for our city’s development,” said Agda. “It will enhance accessibility and contribute to the overall growth of Borongan, particularly the 2.1-kilometer stretch of Baybay Boulevard.”
“(And) I told the good congressman that this project, through his initiative, is indeed remarkable and addresses the demands of the people of Borongan. This project is your legacy, and we, the people of Borongan, will never forget this, “addressing Libanan, who is also the minority floor leader of the House of Representatives.
