Ormoc City – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Leyte 4th District Engineering Office (DEO) breaks ground on the Construction of Multi-purpose Building located in Ormoc City Plaza, along with Leyte 4th District Representative Richard I. Gomez, councilors, and barangay officials on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

This significant project, with a contract amount of Php 49,400,577.25 funded under the General Appropriations Act 2024 is a four-story building with roof deck, spanning a total area of 2,390.04 square meters and is designed to serve as a hub for dining and leisure.
The multi-purpose building will not only provide a comfortable and relaxing space for the people of Ormoc but will also play a crucial role in boosting local tourism, further cementing Ormoc City’s reputation as a destination for its beautiful people and vibrant culture.

Expected to become a key attraction in Ormoc City, the project underscores the Department’s dedication to progress and development in Leyte 4th District. (PR)
