Part of the Tacloban City fiesta celebration
TACLOBAN CITY – Two pageant queens were separately crowned last Friday (June 21) in glittering ceremonies.
In Palo town, the Pintados Foundation Inc. organized the oldest and one of the biggest local pageants in the region, crowning two beauty queens for the Miss Pintados and Miss Teen Pintados 2024 titles.
The event, held at the Leyte Academic Center, featured 24 contestants, with 12 competing for Miss Pintados and another 12 for Miss Teen Pintados.
Rhealei Amarilla of Abuyog was crowned Miss Pintados 2024.
She also won special awards like the People’s Choice award, the Miss Nustar Max award, and placed in the top three for Best in Costume, Best in Beauty with a Purpose Video, and Best in Production Number.
Her court included Shane Rovie Luay of Daram as first runner-up, Kristel Ann Bencion of Guiuan as second runner-up, Belinda Movido of Carigara as third runner-up, and Rejhel Ann Memoracion of Catbalogan as fourth runner-up.
In the Miss Teen Pintados pageant, Luna Angelica Maria Brambilla of Guiuan took home the crown.
Her court included Marylet Andrea Buthania Nocum of Dulag as first runner-up, Erica Allian De Meyer as second runner-up, Shimeah Monge of Barugo, Leyte as third runner-up, and Ellise Domingo of Sta. Rita, Samar as fourth runner-up.
Celebrity host and television personality Boy Abunda hosted the coronation night’s question and answer segment.
Meanwhile, the Miss Tacloban 2024 pageant was held at the Tacloban City Astrodome, hosted by television host Martin Javier.
Krystal Sheena Barredo was crowned the new queen, besting 12 other candidates.
In addition to the crown, Barredo won the Miss Eloquence, Best in Talent, Miss Ceravest, Miss Holla House Beauty, and Miss Powerhouse Fitness special awards.
Also crowned were Kiara Paula Tagalog as Miss Tacloban Eco-tourism 2024 and Marriane Niel Insigne as Miss Tacloban Charity 2024. The court was completed by Xyrene Joy Frias as first runner-up and Nicole Joy Serohijos as second runner-up.
The holding of the beauty pageants are part of the annual fiesta celebration of Tacloban City in honor of its patron, Senior Santo Nino.
