NSSDEO, Brgy. Burabud, Laoang, Northern Samar– With the initiative of OIC-District Engineer Charlito S. Carlobos, the DPWH-Northern Samar 2nd District Engineering Office (NSSDEO) in collaboration with local government unit of Las Navas held a turn-over ceremony of the Las Navas Water Supply project (Level II), Las Navas town, 2nd district of Northern Samar last January 26, 2023.
The project is funded under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) FY 2018 DPWH Regular Infrastructure with a contract amount of P50 million by Norsam Builders & Const. Supplies/MJ Apin Builders on joint venture.
Present during the occasion were NSSDEO personnel spearheaded by Construction Section Chief Engr. Gil Herrera, Jr., Project Engr. Joseph Romance and PIO staffs.
Also in attendance were Las Navas Mayor Arlito Tan, Vice Mayor Minda Tan, Municipal Engr. Romualdo Saises, and other LGU office heads.
“Dako an amon pagpapasalamat sa DPWH kay maiha na naton ini ginhihinulat and finally narealize na gihapon ini. Kunta ini nga proyekto makakabulig sa aton. Magbuburublig an LGU-Las Navas para sa padayon nga kaupayan sini nga serbisyo,” Mayor Tan said as he conveys his appreciation to the DPWH-NSSDEO for its effort in realizing the aforementioned project.
Meanwhile, the construction of the Las Navas Water Supply Project is aimed to provide the end-users with safe, clean and accessible potable water which is also good for all purposes like bathing and washing for the residents of the said Municipality and the nearby communities.
