NSSDEO, Brgy. Burabud, Laoang, N. Samar– Together with the Department of Public Works and Highways – Northern Samar Second District Engineering Office (DPWH-NSSDEO) Assistant District Engineer Atty. Arthur Eric L. Sabong, Municipal Mayor of Lapinig Ma. Luisa Menzon, former mayor Atty. Romualdo Menzon, and other officials of the local government of Lapinig, and Rep. Harris Christopher Ongchuan led the inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremony of the completed project, the construction of the multi-purpose facility (covered court) in Barangay Lapinig del Norte, Lapinig, Northern Samar.
Assistant District Engineer Atty. Arthur Eric L. Sabong kicked off the ceremony by presenting the comprehensive profile of the project wherein he emphasized that the P12 million project covers the completion of a 3mmx16m multi-purpose facility (covered court) and specifically covers the construction of concrete pavement along the sides of the multi-purpose building, reinforced concrete works, finishing works which includes masonry, plastering, painting, roof insulation, roofing works, plumbing, and electrical works.
After ADE Sabong’s presentation of the project profile, Rep. Harris Christopher Ongchuan expressed a message of gratitude to the DPWH-NSSDEO and all other stakeholders involved for their exerted efforts that resulted in the successful completion of the construction of multi-purpose facility.
“Pasalamatan naton an DPWH kay mao gud an implementing agency sine na mga proyekto. Kun dire sira, dire mahihimo aton mga projects dihan. And mayaon pa mga nakasalang na mga proyekto for the whole second district and I hope na magtuloy-tuloy ine nga aton pagkasarayo, pagburublig sa ikauupay sa aton probinsya,” Cong. Ongchuan gratefully addressed during her speech.
Following Rep.Ongchuan’s address, Mayor Ma. Luisa Menzon delivered her message that revolves around her commendation for the construction teams and accentuated the significance of continued investment in infrastructure like the newly constructed multi-purpose facility in their municipality.
