TACLOBAN CITY-The Tacloban City District Engineering Office (TCDEO) successfully completes a new multi-purpose storage building for the Tacloban City Office of the Treasurer.
This project, funded under the General Appropriations Act of 2023, with a total contract amount of P9.7 million.
The newly constructed single-story multipurpose storage building is designed to enhance the operational efficiency of the city’s treasury functions.
This includes the provision of several key facilities such as treasurer’s storage room, ballot box storage room, sorting/receiving/releasing area, restrooms, a loading and unloading dock, and a dedicated parking area.
“This new facility will offer the city treasury office extra space to store and manage important documents and office materials properly,” District Engineer Rebecca G. Yuse.
The completion of this multi-purpose building marks a key improvement in the infrastructure supporting Tacloban City’s financial management. The project not only boosts the efficiency of document handling but also ensures improved security and organization of critical financial materials.
