ORMOC CITY– At least 1,724 local residents and residents from Kananga town availed the medical mission of ‘One Love Medical Group’ and BGT Foundation of the Dec.10-11 activity held at the covered court of Matag-ob.
The beneficiaries availed of dental, and medical checkups for adults and children and ECG.
Mayor Bernie Tacoy in an interview said that the activity was an early Christmas gift for his constituents and from the One Love Mission medical group led by Atty. Melzar Galicia and Atty. Larry Gadon and his own BGT Foundation.
One Love Mission Group representative Jojo Mañarez and Cecil Gomez, in an interview, disclosed that their organization is a group of health professionals composed of doctors, dentists, nurses, and pharmacies who joined together for one cause, which is to extend free medical and dental assistance to those in need of medical help especially the under privilege.
Mario Taño of Barangay Sto. Rosario was thankful to the mission group as he was treated for his ailment and was extended free medicines.
